Introduction

Once you take a close look at Codex Vaticanus, whether in the original, or in Reuben Swanson's Greek Manuscripts of the New Testament (William Carey International University Press, Pasadena), or elsewhere, you will see why the task of counting the words is so difficult. We are working to confirm the actual word count of each text, but all numbers need to be confirmed by independent count, and we are actively seeking to share this work with others who are interested.
