Logotechnical analysis of the Psalter

Casper J. Labuschagne

Did the writers of the Bible use numbers
as a way of structuring their texts?

This is a general introduction to logotechnical analysis written in collaboration with Professor Casper J. Labuschagne, for basic orientation. More recent and extensive material can be found at Professor Labuschagne's own website.

Numerical aspects of the psalms:
Casper J. Labuschagne's logotechnical analysis project

An extensive discussion of the method and fruits of the logotechnical analysis of the Hebrew text of the Psalms. This file, along with separate analyses of each of the psalms, is now available at Professor Labuschagne's own website under the title, "General Introduction to Logotechnical Analysis".

Logotechnical analysis of the entire Psalter

Professor Labuschagne's own website contains separate logotechnical analyses of each of the psalms, for convenience more or less in the format that is also used here.

The Psalms Project Master Table on this site contains links for the other related methodologies discussed in this site, for each of the 150 psalms.

All these documents will be dynamic until the entire project is complete. The final letter in the document name (before ".pdf") indicates the file version. Find detailed version info in the footer of each document as well.
